ShotPut Studio Certified for
Apple ProRes RAW™ Support
INDIANAPOLIS — Imagine Products announces that ShotPut Studio 2.4 is now certified for Apple ProRes RAW™ support, bringing expanded flexibility and control to teams working with modern camera formats. With this release, ShotPut Studio enhances its role as a comprehensive media management solution by integrating ProRes RAW decoding into its pipeline. The addition allows productions to handle this format natively, eliminating the need for separate applications or additional processing steps.
“Supporting ProRes RAW was a natural next step for Studio,” said COO Mark Hudgins. “Teams are increasingly working with this format, and they need efficient ways to prepare that media for editorial and post. Our goal was to make that process as seamless as possible while meeting Apple’s rigorous quality standards.”
Expanded Control for Apple ProRes RAW Workflows
When working with ProRes RAW files in ShotPut Studio 2.4, users gain access to a range of color adjustment controls directly within the application. These include parameters such as ISO, Exposure Bias, Color Temperature, and RAW to Log conversion.
Adjustments are reflected immediately in the preview, allowing users to fine-tune their media before initiating a transcode. This ensures that generated proxies, review files, or deliverables are better aligned with downstream needs, whether for editorial, client review, or archival purposes.
By incorporating these controls into the transcode process, ShotPut Studio reduces reliance on external tools and simplifies the overall workflow.

Support is fully integrated into ShotPut Studio’s established workflow. When ProRes RAW media is added to a job, the application automatically processes it alongside other formats, maintaining consistency across mixed-format projects.

ShotPut Studio 2.4 will be available Date TBA. Users with an active maintenance plan will be able to access the update by selecting “Check for Updates” in the ShotPut Studio app.
For those whose maintenance has expired, upgrade options are available through the Imagine Products website:

- Or enroll in automatic annual updates for just $99 USD/year.
Perpetual licenses for new users remain priced at $299 USD (MSRP).
