Imagine Products Introduces ShotPut Studio 2.1
Featuring Automated Workflow Pipelines
INDIANAPOLIS — Imagine Products has released ShotPut Studio 2.1, a major update that introduces Automation Pipelines, a powerful new feature designed to help media professionals automate repetitive tasks and streamline complex workflows with minimal user input.
Now available to all users with an active maintenance plan, this latest version transforms the way productions can manage copy, transcode, and reporting tasks, by allowing them to be linked into fully customizable sequences that run from start to finish automatically.

Build Smarter Workflows, Visually
At the heart of this update is the new Pipeline Builder, an easy to use drag-and-drop interface that makes building workflows as simple as arranging building blocks. Users can combine any combination of Copy, Transcode, and Report presets into one continuous process that can be launched with a single click.
Each step in the pipeline is clearly labeled and editable, showing relevant details such as verification settings for Copy jobs, codec selections for Transcodes, and report types for final outputs. Presets added to a pipeline become isolated versions, so they won’t affect, or be affected by, global changes unless updated outside the builder.
Nested jobs are also supported, giving users the flexibility to insert sub-tasks, such as generating multiple reports for different departments, all within the same automated run.
Transparency Every Step of the Way
Once a Pipeline is built, users can monitor every part of the process through three powerful new views:
Automation Flow mirrors the visual layout of the pipeline, with live progress bars showing job status in real time.
Automation Overview provides a timeline of activity, helping teams understand exactly when each part of the workflow began and ended.
Automation Log captures every step in detailed, exportable text ideal for recordkeeping or team collaboration.
This triple-view system gives users complete visibility into their workflows without needing to jump around or track individual jobs manually.
