HD Log Gold Edition

HD Log Gold Edition
is specifically designed for seamless interaction with Media Asset Management (MAM) systems such as Mac Digital Clip Library.

HD Log is the ultimate in flexible logging. You can set up custom templates, capture thumbnail pictures along with timecode, digitize clips, print out storyboards, sort files, search logs, select the best clips, copy and paste the clips into new log files. Also import, export, and translate batch digitizing files and EDLs between various nonlinear systems.

HD Log Gold features XML output with the encoded clips and thumbnails, along with text, to a pre-set location for ingestion into your MAM system.

In addition to single clip QT files, use HD Log Gold's Batch Digitize option to automatically control the deck and capture clips for entire log files.

The encoding options allow for individualized files for each clip--keeping them small and manageable. Adjustments for adding Head and Tail frames let you "pad" the clips to ensure the meaningful material is fully preserved.

Use the Merge Rule if you want multiple entries contained within roughly equal length video clips (chunks).

HD Log automatically embeds frame accurate timecode information in each QT file ready for precise playback and editing.
