QuickTime Repair Tool
QuickTime MOV files created with PPC processors in prior versions of QuickTime (i.e. 7.0-7.2) sometimes have problems opening in QuickTime player 7.3 and beyond. Imagine Products has developed a simple QT repair utility to overcome this bug.
The utility is available as a free demo for single file repairs, and as a batch repair utility for a modest price. The repair utility changes the Color Look Up Table (CLUT) value of selected files to a compatible value. This makes the corrected MOV file playable in all 7.0 and higher versions of QuickTime.
Because the Repair Tool tests each file prior to modification, you're assured it will not damage or change files already compatible with QT 7.3 and higher. The full software also reports results of modification activities upon completion.
