LAS VEGAS, NV – Imagine Products, Inc. announced today the release and general availability of a new P2 Viewer application for the Apple® (NYSE: AAPL) Macintosh® platform.  HD Log™, a flexible logger and asset management tool, now works seamlessly with the native MXF format stored on P2 memory cards.

HD Log references the original video source without QuickTime® file conversions.  This technique gives immediate viewing and manipulation of video clips directly on the P2 cards, and speeds the transfer of only desirable selected clips to the editor or asset management system.  HD Log allows users to save only the video they need, in a format that is readily available for most editing systems. 

“With HD Log you leave the shoot with the clips you want already archived and logged with notes, ready to go straight to editing via Final Cut Pro®, Avid®, Adobe® or other systems,” says Dan Montgomery, president of Imagine Products.  “You can also download the video to QuickTime for use in other applications such as Adobe AfterEffects™.” 

HD Log has other features to help with production, including:
