| Q: | I have just set up my CrimeVision system, and am trying to start a New Case to begin work. Every time I select New Case, the program crashes. I just got a bad copy of software, right? | 07/23/2009 | | A: | Open the program and go directly to SETUP under the LINKED APPS menu. Look at the Program Directory and determine where CrimeVision is being told to save its Case Files. Examine the Properties of this location (either by selecting BROWSE and right clicking the folder for its properties, or browsing outside the application to examine the folder's properties). Remember that this Project Directory location cannot be a locked folder. You must be able to write to this folder for CrimeVision to save any work, including creating new cases. |
